🥬 Well Link: A Friendly Hydroponic Brand Bringing Freshness to Hong Kong Supermarkets
Well Link is a cheerful new brand dedicated to delivering high-quality hydroponic vegetables to the Hong Kong market. From the visual identity to the product packaging, every element is designed to make fresh eating feel happy, approachable, and trustworthy.

This project was a deep dive into the world of fresh produce branding — where a lighthearted logo, picnic-inspired packaging, and playful educational elements come together to elevate everyday salad greens into something memorable. Now available in ParknShop and other major supermarkets, Well Link Hydroponic Salad stands out for its design clarity and inviting tone.
💧 Designing the Well Link Brand Identity: Simplicity, Smiles, and Sustainability
The Well Link brand began with a mission: to make hydroponic produce not just accessible, but emotionally engaging. The logo design features a hand-drawn smiley face in clean blue, evoking both water-based farming and a sense of purity. The soft, flowing typeface gives the mark a gentle rhythm, reinforcing the brand’s friendliness and fresh appeal.

We crafted a brand world that balances sustainability, simplicity, and joy — a design language that promises freshness at a glance and invites customers into a healthier lifestyle. Whether it’s on a sticker, shelf display, or social media, that little smile signals quality and care.
🧺 Packaging a Picnic: Hydroponic Salad with a Fresh, Grab-and-Go Vibe
For the Hydroponic Salad line, the goal was to bring a sense of the outdoors into busy urban lives. The packaging features a wraparound pattern inspired by picnic mats, printed in bright, cheerful colors. A die-cut window reveals the fresh greens inside — letting the product speak for itself.
Each box is washed and ready to eat, designed for convenience without compromising freshness. The playful color palette and transparent structure make the products stand out on shelves and communicate quality instantly. With Well Link, eating healthy becomes something joyful, not just functional.

🌈 Rainbow Farm: A Celebration of Color, Nutrition, and Visual Storytelling

As the latest chapter in the Well Link story, Rainbow Farm introduces a vibrant lineup of rarely-seen vegetables in exciting colors like purple broccoli, red radishes, and yellow carrots. Designed to educate and inspire, the sub-brand is grounded in the principle that a colorful plate leads to better health.
At the center of the visual identity is a bowl-shaped logo filled with color-coded veggies, always smiling — a flexible icon system that can grow with the product range. Each vegetable label is paired with a “Veg Ambassador” character, delivering quick nutrition tips tied to their color group (e.g. red for heart health, green for digestion).
The result is a powerful combination of nutrition education and shelf appeal, designed to catch the eye, inform the mind, and brighten the plate.

Well Link and Rainbow Farm are part of my continuing exploration in food branding and packaging design — where storytelling, function, and visual charm meet. I’m passionate about turning everyday brands into memorable, meaningful experiences for modern consumers. -Hinz
